We are seeking a Senior Radar Systems Engineer that thrives in a fast-paced environment to support the Search, Track, Acquire, Radiate, Eliminate (STARE) Project Office at the Program Executive Office for Missiles and Space. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, attention to detail, and analytical skills.

The Radar Systems Engineer serves as a technical expert supporting the full lifecycle of radar systems, from concept development and requirements definition through testing, fielding, and sustainment. This role involves analyzing system performance, investigating and resolving technical issues, and working with developers to enhance capabilities. The Senior Radar Systems Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure radar systems meet operational requirements and integrate seamlessly into the Army air and missile defense architecture; participate in design reviews; provide technical guidance to government leaders; and support the evaluation of new technologies to improve radar system performance and reduce life-cycle costs.

Required:

• BS or BA degree
• 15 years' related experience
• Ability to work within an Integrated Product Team construct
• Experience with Army Air and Missile Defense architecture
• Experience with Dept. of Defense Acquisition process
• Some travel may occasionally be required
• Must have an in-scope DoD Secret security clearance

Desired:

• Experience with Army passive and instrumentation radars such as the Army Long Range Persistent Surveillance (ALPS) system
