Job Description and Responsibilities

Visa is seeking an innovative, digitally-savvy Senior Designer to support corporate marketing activation for Value-Added Services, a core area of focus within Visa. This role will be instrumental in elevating our digital presence and delivering cutting-edge creative experiences across multiple channels.

As a key partner to executive stakeholders, you will help redefine our creative approach during a transformational year for marketing. The ideal candidate is a versatile designer with world-class skills spanning illustration, motion graphics, video editing, animation, web design, email design, and immersive event experiences - someone who can challenge the status quo and deliver bold, modern, and impactful creative work that simplifies complex payment and banking concepts into clear, compelling visual stories.

Essential Functions

  • Design and produce high-quality creative deliverables across digital, motion, and static formats, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.

    Sample asset types include PowerPoint presentations, interactive demos, conference and event materials, webinars, executive newsletters, emails, infographics, illustrations, and web assets.

  • Create illustration and motion graphics for video, web, and event applications.

  • Complete video post-production including editing, animation, and motion design. No shooting required.

  • Create immersive experiences for events and digital platforms, incorporating interactive and motion elements.

  • Develop modern web designs with expertise in Figma and platforms such as Ceros or Webflow. Knowledge of HTML5 and JavaScript is a bonus.

  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and executive teams to translate strategic narratives into compelling visual stories.

  • Extend and evolve Visa's visual systems across all mediums, ensuring scalability and consistency.

  • Design with a human-centered approach, prioritizing clarity, accessibility, and emotional resonance.

  • Contribute to animation standards in our design system and champion best practices in motion design.

  • Produce presentation design in PowerPoint for high-visibility internal and external communications.

  • Work efficiently to meet deadlines, manage multiple projects, and adapt quickly to changing priorities.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD

Proven ability to translate complex concepts into clear, engaging visual content.

Strong conceptual thinking paired with hands-on execution across multiple mediums.

Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and modern web platforms like Ceros and Webflow.

Experience designing for email marketing platforms such as Eloqua and web CMS environments such as AEM.

Familiarity with HTML5 and JavaScript is a plus.

Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Self-motivated, proactive, and able to deliver on time and on budget.

Portfolio required: must demonstrate variety, innovation, and digital expertise.

Bachelor's degree in Motion Design, Animation, Illustration, Video Production, Graphic Design, or equivalent experience.

Experience in immersive experience design, animation, or UX and UI design is a plus.

Payment industry or fintech experience beneficial, but not required.

Knowledge of User-Centered Design (UCD) principles and usability testing.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 116,300.00 to 168,600.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
