Summary: Program owner of labor management system, practices and compliance to ensure system and process support business needs in labor management, time and attendance, and labor budgeting / forecasting. This role supports an hourly workforce of 11,000+. This position will also be the relationship owner to labor system vendor (Unifocus) and contract labor record system (WorkRecords). The role will report to the VP, Finance and partner extensively cross-functionally with HR, FP&A, Operations, Legal and more. This role will be deployed across the business, typically working on multiple projects at a time. Responsibilities: Management
- Serves as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for lodge and corporate leaders on time and attendance configuration and related workforce management matters; provides guidance and timely support to ensure consistency and adherence to policies.
- Partner with HR, Legal, Payroll, Finance, and Operations to fulfill business requirements, ensure system effectiveness and support business needs.
- Partners with the Training team to develop, maintain, and deliver organizational training materials related to the Unifocus system and time and attendance processes; ensures content is clear, up-to-date, and aligned with policy and system updates.
- Ensure effective weekly labor meetings are being held at the properties and provide framework for structure
- Implement and maintain required work rules for time and attendance and scheduling
- Ensure proper labor standard configurations and maintain standard sets
- Build and maintain a responsibility matrix detailing LMS responsibilities for corporate support and lodge leadership. Ensure compliance with matrix
- Responsible for system administration, including developing and maintaining system security groups; and maintaining and standardizing labor and KBI structures
- Ensure external system integrations are working as expected between HR system (UKG), WorkRecords, Unifocus and the Company's data warehouse
- Audit hours between Unifocus and OneStream
- Validate employee maintenance and ensure proper secondary job coding
- Develop process for capturing budgeting / forecasting data and ensure synchronization with financial system
- Ensure proper Budget structure configuration to work with OneStream
- Build, maintain and publish reporting supporting compliance to time and attendance rules (breaks, punches, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Minimum four-year bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Economics, Hospitality, or related field
- Experience with Unifocus labor management system, Kronos, Hotel Effectiveness or similar time & attendance system
- Demonstrated experience in labor management
- Strong analytical and independent problem-solving capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex cross-functional projects
- Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships
- A proven ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- Ability to be based out of Great Wolf's Corporate Headquarters in Chicago, IL. Office is following a hybrid schedule (M/F optional remote work, T/W/TH in-office), that is subject to change
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Tableau and OneStream FP&A tool
- Experience in hospitality industry
Estimated Salary Range: $100,000 - $140,000 annual base salary An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of Great Wolf's total compensation package. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and other perks.
