GENERAL FUNCTION
The store manager contributes to Oakley's success by leading a team of store employees to create and maintain the Oakley experience for both our internal and external customers. The store manager directs and supervises the workforce, makes staffing decisions, ensures customer satisfaction, manages the financial performance of the store, and maintains brand equity.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES




  • Provides excellent customer service and demonstrates professionalism.



  • Achieves high levels of performance and sales results.



  • Recruits and hires top talent to meet the store's and company's needs.



  • Offers feedback through ongoing training, counseling, performance reviews, and setting challenging goals to improve employee performance.



  • Manages all visual standards of the store, including merchandise presentation, display, lighting, and general maintenance.



  • Reviews operational reports and records to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, monitors store profitability, and manages the payroll matrix.



  • Monitors and reviews inventory levels and documents to ensure the accuracy of the store's stock.



  • Ensures staff compliance with the company's established policies and standards, such as safeguarding company funds and property, personnel practices, security, sales, record-keeping procedures, and general store maintenance.



  • Assists in resolving issues affecting service, efficiency, and productivity of the store.





BASIC QUALIFICATIONS




  • At least three years of retail experience in a specialized environment



  • At least one year of retail management experience



  • Availability to work a flexible schedule and the hours necessary to open and/or close the store, including evenings, weekends, and holidays



  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written), including strong relationship-building skills



  • Ability to train staff and ensure their professional development, as well as to establish relationships and use staff skills more appropriately



  • Ability to stand for almost the entire day or move around on the floor or in the warehouse



  • Ability to maneuver merchandise and lift up to 40 lbs



  • Bilingual
