Position Summary: This role facilitates and ensures inventory accuracy of all finished goods inventory. Daily inventory reconciliation and performing inventory counts as needed. Essential Functions * Ensures accurate inventory control of all finished goods product. * Research & resolve any inventory discrepancies in a timely manner * Perform Cycle counts on all Finished Goods. * Breakdown mixed pallets to maintain accurate inventory * Reconcile invalid pallet tags * Directing replenishment tasks Secondary Functions * Recommend process or production improvements to management. * Attend department and training meetings as required. * Create reports related to inventory control. * Work to improve SAP report variants to execute duties efficiently. * As an employee of a food warehousing facility, you are responsible for ensuring food safety and quality by reporting any concerns to the quality assurance department. * Other duties as assigned. Supervisory responsibilities: This position is not supervisory in nature. However, general direction and coordination among co-workers and co-departments regarding planning, prioritizing and problem solving is exercised. Knowledge, skills, and abilities: * Self-directed with ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines. * Strong organizational and prioritization skills; must manage changing priorities. * Detail oriented with strong data and problem analysis skills. * Proficient in counting inventory with a high accuracy rate. * Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP/WM systems and the ability to learn other computer programs. * Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with solid math skills. * Self-motivated with zero error mindset. Minimum qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years of experience related to inventory preferred. Experience in a manufacturing or warehousing environment required. Working conditions: Work is performed in a warehouse environment. Daily, evening and/or early morning meetings, periodic mandatory overtime and extensive close work will be required; weekend hours may be required. While performing the duties of the job incumbent may be working around moving mechanical parts. The noise level is typically moderate to loud while in the warehouse. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
