Remote | Full Time

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate's education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is $120,000 to $125,000. Currax offers best in class benefits programs that includes health, retirement, paid leaves, and wellness programs.

About the Role

The Pharmacy Operations Manager, reporting to the Director of Pharmacy Operations, leads initiatives to enhance prescription access, improve adherence, and optimize program value. The role blends pharmacy expertise with data analytics to create cutting-edge patient support solutions. Responsibilities include collaborating with healthcare providers, pharmacies, and internal teams to develop strategies that improve patient outcomes while driving business results. The ideal candidate brings pharmaceutical experience with creative problem-solving skills to transform our patient care programs.

Responsibilities

* Design, lead, and continuously optimize patient access strategies to maximize medication access and affordability to improve patient outcomes.

* Develop and manage comprehensive patient support programs, including copay assistance, patient assistance programs, and other access initiatives ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

* In partnership with Trade, serve as the operational liaison to specialty pharmacies, hub providers, and other vendors, negotiating service level agreements, monitoring performance, and driving accountability.

* Lead performance analytics efforts leveraging program performance data to identify gaps and enhance efficiency.

* Partner cross functionally with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and market access teams, to ensure seamless execution of access and affordability initiatives.

* Monitor and interpret evolving healthcare regulations, payer policies, and industry trends to proactively adapt strategies and maintain program integrity.

* Evaluate and implement emerging technologies and innovative approaches to streamline access operations and elevate patient and provider experience.

* Own the development and execution of strategies to increase prescription volume, minimize access barriers, and optimize net revenue.

Required Qualification & Skills

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

* 5-7+ years of experience in patient access, pharmacy benefit management, or a related area within the pharmaceutical industry.

* Extensive knowledge of pharmacy operations, payer landscape, and patient assistance programs.

* Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data manipulation and reporting.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Experience with patient discount programs (eVoucher, Denial Conversion, Copay Card programs), and PBM claim adjudication

* Ability to identify and implement innovative solutions to optimize patient access and program performance.
