Essential Job Duties |
This position is the primary scheduling officer for the department and will work closely with Registration and Records to update the Student Information System (
SIS) every semester. They will schedule chemistry classes and class rooms for undergraduate lectures, labs, problem sessions and all graduate courses. This position inputs all scheduling data into the
SIS system according to deadlines set by Registration and Records. In addition, this position is responsible for submitting
ASTRA requests to the University for classroom assignments for events such as office hours and exam reviews.
This position will also assist t with reviewing transcripts and transfer coursework for
Non-Degree Seeking student enrollment. They will resolve discrepancies with various administrative units regarding undergraduate records. They will assist faculty and staff with scheduling issues as well as assist with the Course Leaf actions. They will process Plan/Subplans forms for undergraduate majors and advise students on form completion. They will clear seniors for graduation by reviewing Automated Degree Audit reports and make updates as necessary.

Minimum Experience/Education |
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Experience working in a higher education or student services environment preferred
- Familiarity with student information systems and office productivity software
