Why us, why now?

Reporting directly to the Verification Operation Manager, the Senior Verification Associate position plays a key role in advancing AMCAS through the consistent review and validation of high-stakes application data. Senior Associates handle more complex cases, ensure compliance with established procedures, and escalate issues requiring further review. In addition to data processing, this role provides operational support and contributes to training, knowledge sharing, and process improvement to maintain efficiency. By ensuring data integrity and supporting continuous improvement, this position strengthens departmental performance and directly advances strategic initiatives.

How will you make an impact?

Application Processing:

  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of AMCAS policies and verification processing instructions.

  • Evaluate and compare applicant-submitted data to official transcripts and supporting documents.

  • Meet individual production and quality targets within published timelines.

  • Resolve verification-related inquiries and issues.

Training:

  • Conduct annual training needs assessment for application processing.

  • Propose training program objectives

  • Works with seasonal training staff to plan and develop lesson plans and training material, utilizing a variety for media, for required application processing training.

  • Train and coach others involved in staff training efforts.

  • Assist in the development of job aids and documented procedures.

Team Collaboration:

  • Tracking and report verification-related defects to Verification lead team.

  • Assist manager in the smooth and efficient operation of the department.

  • Assist in supporting the needs of other AMCAS departments.

  • Participate and lead delegated projects.

What will you bring to the role?:
  • High School Diploma

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent professional experience - Preferred

  • 4 - 5 years of related work experience

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a high-volume, detail-oriented processing environment.

  • Prior experience coaching or mentoring team members in a professional setting.

  • Experience working with customer service platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and data management systems.

  • Familiarity with AMCAS policies and procedures is strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.

Remote Work Eligibility

This position is eligible for remote work in the contiguous US

Compensation Grade Range

$54,825.00-$64,500.00

Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors may include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate's work experience, education and training, as well as internal equity, market, and business considerations.

If a bachelor's degree is required, related work experience may be substituted in some positions. One year of college course work at an accredited institution is equivalent to one year of related work experience.
