Job Title: Software Operational and Interoperability Tester
Location: 2001 Brainard Rd. Fort Huachuca, Arizona 85613

SUMMARY
Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) Test Evaluation and Certification II Services (TEC II) contract provides technical solutions for the DOD in support of Test and Evaluation (T&E) services and T&E enabling services.
We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Software Operational and Interoperability Tester to join our dynamic team. This role is critical to ensuring the quality, reliability, and seamless integration of software products. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing test plans, identifying and documenting defects, and contributing to the overall improvement of the software development lifecycle.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
*Demonstrates knowledge in a variety of the test and evaluation (T&E) concepts, practices, and procedures.
*Applies common T&E practices that include identification of capability requirements review, conducting data collection, validation and analysis of data, reporting clear and understandable results, and providing actionable recommendations to improve the operational effectiveness of system tested.
*Review and analyze schematics, and technical drawings, diagrams, and specifications. Must be able to review, analyze, and interpret stakeholders needs. Solicits system requirements and associated operational environments to produce an evaluation approach that supports Test & Evaluation objectives. Develop various briefings such as the Test Concept Brief (TCB), Test and Evaluation Strategy Brief (TESB) and Operational Test Readiness Review (OTRR). Develop Test Plans and strategies to meet operational and interoperability test requirements. Develop and update the Analysis Structure (AS) which is comprised of the Data Source Matrix (DSM) and the Evaluation Framework (EF). Develop and update Critical Operational Issues (COIs), Measures of Effectiveness (MOE), and Measures of Performance (MOPs). Develop Test Scenarios and Test Scripts to support the conduct of the System Under Test (SUT).
*Collaborate with developers, system engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and improve software quality.
*Analyze test results and provide clear and concise reports.
*Adhere to established testing standards and procedures.
*Maintain a strong understanding of software development methodologies and testing best practices.
*Learn and adapt to new technologies and testing tools.
*Proactively seek out opportunities to improve testing processes and efficiency.
*Work under general supervision, with latitude for independent judgment.
*Identify potential risks and issues during the testing process.
*Attends various teleconferences, meetings and working groups.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Certifications
*Agile framework certifications recommended.
Education, Background, and Years of Experience
*Intermediate requires 8 years of specialized and/or military experience.

*Basic understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
*Familiarity with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
*Ability to analyze test results and identify root causes of defects.

*Highly motivated and proactive with a strong desire to learn and contribute.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Environmental Conditions
*Work is generally sedentary in nature. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are not hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.
Strength Demands
*Sedentary - 10 lbs. Maximum lifting, occasional lift/carry of small articles. Some occasional walking or standing may be required. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
Physical Requirements
*Stand or Sit; Walk; See; Climb (stairs, ladders) or Balance (ascend / descend, work atop, traverse).
