About the Opportunity:

The Corporate Paralegal supports members of the Pursuit Legal Department, including the General Counsel, Assistant General Counsel, and Export Compliance Manager, with day-to-day activities and special projects as needed to perform legal functions for the Company.

Location: The role will be located at our South Windsor, CT site, with the ability to work a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate completion, implementation, and ongoing management of commercial contracts
  • Maintain and file corporate records
  • Manage required filings for legal entities and maintain records such as minute books, ledgers, and good standings
  • Support the GC on Board of Director and Committee actions, documents, and signatures
  • Assist the GC with outside counsel and other advisor engagement, invoicing, and documentation
  • Interface with outside counsel on status of legal claims
  • Collect and file Nondisclosure Agreements from Company sites and departments
  • Assist with documents related to development and implementation of legal policies and templates
  • Providing administrative support for documents and activities related to corporate restructurings, such as mergers, formations, and dissolutions
  • Participate in special projects

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of paralegal experience
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis.
  • Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Able to read, write, and speak in standard English
  • Ability to work Independently, with minimal supervision.

Working Conditions

  • Must be able to have prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.
  • Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Personal protective equipment (e.g., safety glasses and safety shoes) is required on the shop floor
