Job Description

Position Summary:The Technical Program Advisor provides strategic, technical, and operationalexpertiseto strengthen CRDFGlobal'sthreat reduction and security programming. This position plays a key role in expanding CRDFGlobal'stechnical depth, developing new capabilities, supporting implementation, and amplifying CRDFGlobal'svisibility across global security and stabilization initiatives.

Major Responsibilities:




  • Expand CRDFGlobal'stechnical capability and service offering.





  • Use professional networks toidentify,recruitand mentoradditionalexperts within assigned technical domains.





  • Produce white papers, technical briefs, training materials andconveneexpert roundtables.





  • Contribute to CRDFGlobal'sreputation as a thought leader in global security,nonproliferationand stabilization.





  • Design and deliver technicaltrainingsfor CTR beneficiaries.





  • Mentor and coach CRDF Global staff to strengthen internal technical competencies.





  • Conduct horizon scans andmonitorChina/Russia/counter-proliferation policy and technology trends.





  • Provideevidence-based insights to guide strategy andvalidateprogram assumptions





  • Support proposal reviews to ensure scientific, technical and policy rigor





  • Serve as a technical advisor across projects; delivertrainings,workshopsand after-action reviews to enhance delivery quality and learning.





  • Strengthen and standardize CRDFGlobal'sSME and partnership engagement systems, including onboarding, vetting and relationship management.





  • Publish thought leadership content and represent CRDF Global in international forums,workshopsand conferences.





  • Bridge connections between experts,policymakersand implementers to expand CRDFGlobal'sinfluence.





  • Identifynew funders and funding opportunities to grow CRDFGlobal'ssecurity and threat reduction portfolio.Identify,recruitand develop staff within CRDF Global.





  • Other duties as assigned.




Education & Experience:




  • 8+ years' professional experience in nonproliferation, global security or related technical advisory or policy roles.





  • Master's degree in international affairs, security studies, political science, publicpolicyor a related technical/scientific field orBachelorsdegree with 10+ years of relevant professional experience.





  • Experience supporting oradvisingU.S. government funded programs (e.g.Department of State, CTR, DoD) strongly preferred.





  • Proven ability to design,leador evaluate complex international programs.





  • Demonstrated success in producing technical or policy content (white papers,briefingsor training modules).





  • Prior experience mentoring staff or managing technicalteams,preferred.





  • Strong analytical,writingand presentation abilities.





  • Deep understanding of emerging security and nonproliferation trends.





  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and cultures.





  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.





  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally.





  • Flexibility to work across multiple time zones.





  • U.S. work authorizationrequired.
