Marketing Coordinator Location: Oak Brook, IL | Department: Marketing | Reports to: Creative Services Director Position Overview CenterPoint Properties is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to support various marketing initiatives. This role is ideal for a creative, organized, and tech-savvy professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys collaborating across teams. The Marketing Coordinator will contribute to internal and external communications, digital content, event support, and brand consistency across platforms. Key Responsibilities General Marketing
- Process Team invoices and assist with marketing deliverables.
- Coordinate headshot photography and new employee welcome kits.
- Maintain and coordinate inventory orders for the marketing room
- Organize tasks for the Team with SharePoint and Microsoft Teams
- Manage and maintain the Marketing SharePoint help page
- Assist with marketing onboarding meetings
- Team player who facilitates tasks across the company in helping support marketing efforts.
Communications
- Draft, edit, and publish internal communications (e.g., SharePoint posts)
- Support external communications, ensuring brand consistency and quality.
- Curate and manage email contact lists and assist with email marketing campaigns.
- Maintain and update content on the company's SharePoint and WordPress sites.
Digital & Graphic Content
- Assist with basic graphic design tasks (e.g., image resizing, layout updates).
- Manage digital assets using Bynder (Digital Asset Management System).
- Support social media content creation and scheduling.
- Pull and analyze metrics from Google Analytics, email campaigns, and social platforms.
Event & Project Coordination
- Provide logistical support for internal and external events.
- Act as the point of contact for events when the Event Manager is unavailable.
- Manage Industry Sponsorships and Conference Attendees lists
- Prepare quarterly event calendars
Qualifications
- Associate's or higher in marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a marketing or communications role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat, Premiere).
- Basic knowledge of WordPress or other CMS platforms.
- Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Working knowledge of SharePoint and Teams platform
- Experience with HubSpot or similar email marketing platforms.
- Familiarity with AP Style and HTML.
- Understanding of SEO and social media analytics.
- Experience with video editing tools (e.g., Magisto, Animoto).
