Essential Job Functions:

The partner must be able to perform all of the following duties and responsibilities with or without a reasonable accommodation:

  • Directs the maintenance of company facilities, buildings, and equipment at theSan Antonio Support Center (SSC).
  • Maintain the SSC facilities (exterior and interior) to include heating, air conditioning, landscape maintenance, janitorial upkeep, equipment, etc.
  • Supervise facilities maintenance technicians and vendors providing services related to building maintenance, moves, and construction.
  • Space planning of the SSC campus including cubicle drawing and designing of space needs.
  • Coordinate and supervise all aspects of interior facility set-up, tear-down, move/relocation, equipment and furniture requests (i.e., cubicle walls, desktops, etc.), interpreting building blueprints and planning layouts to appropriately accommodate all personnel.
  • Coordinate all aspects of the SSC interior and exterior facility maintenance. This includes acting as primary liaison with outside companies and vendors to open, review, negotiate and approve bids for service contracts (i.e., painting, grounds keeping, parking lot, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.) as well as enforcing contracts and requesting emergency service or repairs (i.e. flooding, etc.).
  • Ensures that all fire, life safety and other safety programs are established and followed in conjunction with Environmental Health and Safety at all times.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Management, Construction Management, Architecture, Interior Design or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years related experience in a building, facilities or office management role and 2 years supervisory experience is required.
  • Computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint) and AutoCAD packages as well as the ability to read and interpret building blueprints.
  • Excellent human relations, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to perceive problems and create effective solutions.
  • Possess close attention to detail as well as organizational and project management skills.
