*Description*
Experienced Data Engineer to join the team in our Technology department. As a Data Engineer, you will deliver a World Class Experience by developing and maintaining solutions to transfer, ingest, transform, model, and store Bank data, as well as any application using or processing that data. The Data Engineer will apply broad technical knowledge of technology and industry trends to lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of high risk/critical data solutions in a complex Microsoft, Azure, and Python environment. What We're Looking For * Bachelor's degree in data engineering field, or equivalent work experience, required. * 5-8 years of experience in data engineering building end-to-end SQL and Python data solutions required. * 5-8 years of experience building and managing data warehouse infrastructure platforms required. * 5-8 years of experience building and managing orchestration and scheduling infrastructure platforms required. * 5-8 building and managing BI and reporting infrastructure platforms required. * 10-15 years of experience in ETL processes including ingestion via APIs preferred. * 10-15 years of experience in business intelligence and analytics preferred. * Experience working with version control, SDLC, and Data Governance best practices preferred. Your Responsibilities The essential functions of this role include, but are not limited to: * Design, build, maintain and secure a Microsoft based data warehouse and orchestration platform that includes MS SQL Servers and Azure. * Design, build, maintain and secure a Business Intelligence platform that includes PowerBI and Tableau. * Design, build and maintain SQL Databases and Azure Storage. * Design, build and maintain Python scripts for data pipeline jobs. * Design, build and maintain Stored Procedures, queries and tables for Data Warehouse. * Design, build and maintain Tableau or PowerBI reports. * Design, build and maintain the Orchestration and scheduling of data jobs. * Build process maps and flows for all jobs and services. * Troubleshoot and remediate all data related incidents including root cause analysis. * Collaborate with lines of business and other departments to understand data reporting needs and maximize use of reporting tools. * Follow change and SDLC process. * Responsible for ensuring our warehouse and business intelligence tool have the most current, accurate and relevant data possible for our customers. * Continuously improving the quality, availability, useability, integrity and security of our data platform. * Assist in maintaining documentation for internal procedures and inventory. *Skills* Python, Data, Sql, Etl, Azure *Top Skills Details* Python,Data,Sql,Etl *Additional Skills & Qualifications* This role is hybrid one day a week in Santa Barbara. 115-145/K Salary range Hybrid data environment 80% on prem - 20% cloud *Experience Level* Expert Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $145000.00/yr.
