Acara Solutions seeks a Senior Advanced Embedded Software Engineer for our client in Orlando, FL.

  • As a software engineer for the Training Technologies group, you'll be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for designing, implementing, and integrating hardware and embedded software in critical mission training devices.
  • Mentoring/leading junior engineers.
  • Lead the embedded software development process
  • Expertise in applying technical standards and methodologies to solve challenges in creative ways
  • Collaborative team player eager to provide technical leadership and positioning others for success
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering or Science or Engineering or Mathematics with 8 years experience
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience with C and C++.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience with firmware on real-time embedded processors and SDKs.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience with development environments like SEGGER Embedded Studio.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience with Nordic and NXP SoCs.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Android development.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree with 6 years experience
  • Agile experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of technology trends and willingness to champion new ideas and process improvements.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others.
