Summary:

In this role, you will drive revenue growth through maintaining relationships and maximizing contract utilization with new and existing members; seeks to recruit new business, incorporating industry and marketplace trends into daily prospecting. You will manage relationships with stakeholders to identify opportunities to accelerate performance through the portfolio by asking questions to uncover member's pain points or problems and advising on solutions across the span of the portfolio. You will manage supplier relationships by creating strategic plans for assigned territory to target, develop, implement new business and retain existing business.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong member and supplier relationships to promote contracted offerings and identify new revenue opportunities.

  • Educate members on the value of Vizient partnerships and recommend targeted solutions to address business needs.

  • Develop and execute account plans to drive contract penetration, renewals, and revenue growth.

  • Manage and track pipelines of new and existing business opportunities through Salesforce.

  • Lead contract launch and renewal efforts by sharing key information, facilitating enrollments, and supporting implementation.

  • Conduct business reviews with supply chain leaders to present analytics, uncover opportunities, and align strategies.

  • Analyze member performance data to recommend savings, contract optimizations, and portfolio expansion.

  • Execute virtual sales campaigns (email and call outreach) in collaboration with supplier partners to increase engagement.

  • Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping for membership and contract agreements.

  • Support onboarding and training of new team members by sharing best practices and resources.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.

  • 2 or more years of relevant experience required. Experience in sales and/or account management role strongly preferred.

  • Knowledge of GPO/supply chain, and non-acute pharmacy market.

  • Must have strong analytical, customer service, presentation, and consultative selling skills and work effectively with C-suites.

  • Experience with sales pipeline development and management through Salesforce.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $68,500.00 to $116,300.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
