Overview

As BIN Sponsorship Product Manager, you will drive the execution of product related commercial and governance initiatives. You will partner with internal business and control function stakeholders to ensure sustainable business development in line with the product's risk appetite.

You will lead by example with deep dedication to make the team and our clients successful while at the same time managing product-related risks.

What You'll Do

  • Take responsibility for and manage especially the US product responsibilities and support and guide colleagues in the local team
  • Participate in and lead selected client meetings (e.g. product reviews, compliance and risk review), balancing business opportunities and ensuring policy, regulatory and scheme requirements are met
  • Manage and further develop the BIN Sponsorship product portfolio, including product and pricing optimization as well as competitive analysis
  • Monitor, report and discuss risk appetite driven metrics (e.g. chargebacks, PCI compliance) in close collaboration with internal stakeholders (e.g. Product Governance, Risk, Compliance, Operations, Legal, Finance) to ensure holistic product and risk governance
  • Show openness to feedback and providing feedback, in order to develop yourself, the team and the product
  • Engage regularly with card schemes (VISA, Mastercard) and other partners to incorporate regulatory updates, rule changes, and new programs into the product

Skills You'll Need

  • University degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • At least 6 years of professional experience in payments, cards business and acquiring
  • Strong understanding of regulatory, compliance, and risk frameworks within the payments industry
  • Proven experience in cross-functional collaboration with technical, regulatory and commercial stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to manage, monitor and translate complex products or processes into actionable plans

  • Analytical and structured mindset, with the ability to balance risk and business opportunities

  • High learning agility and adaptability in a rapidly evolving market environment (e.g. new scheme rules, emerging technologies)

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $140,000 to $217,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
