About the Job:
As a Director of Engagement Strategy, you will collaborate with senior healthcare clients to develop innovative engagement plans, driving value through dynamic brand experiences. You'll leverage research, insights, and customer journey mapping to craft omnichannel strategies that bring brand promises to life. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will foster creative problem-solving, influence departmental excellence, and mentor talent. As a rising agency leader, you'll drive business outcomes, advocate for the department, and stay ahead of industry trends.
A Day in the Life:
  • Oversee day-to-day activity on assigned accounts, creating project briefs and driving strategic engagement deliverables.
  • Serve as day-to-day lead on select accounts with minimal senior supervision.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with cross-functional teams (account management, strategic planning, media, creative).
  • Build strong partnerships with senior marketing clients, providing strategic guidance and synthesizing diverse insights into actionable plans.
  • Marry strategic and creative aptitude to craft impactful engagement strategies, providing expertise on on- and offline channels.
  • Ensure quality of strategic and creative products as a key engagement team member.
  • Manage and mentor junior-level engagement strategists, fostering career development.
  • Evangelize engagement strategy's value, directing accounts on opportunities and collaborating with agency stakeholders to drive business outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, applying knowledge to engagement strategies and presenting ideas and strategies to clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
What you'll need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 6+ years of healthcare marketing experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with ability to create complex presentations.
  • Experience with brainstorming software (Stormz, Miro, Mural) and online collaboration platforms (Zoom).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with ability to present in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong active listening skills, with a collaborative and constructive working style.
  • Proven ability to influence others within and beyond the department, with demonstrated tact and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly accountable for deliverables, with unwavering personal integrity, strong problem-solving skills, and adaptability to learn new tools and methodologies.
  • Ability to navigate conflicts constructively and train others on online collaboration platforms and tools.
Salary
$190,000 to $270,000 annually
The salary range for this position is noted within this job posting.
