A little about this position:
- The Sponsorship Coordinator balances activation execution and various administrative duties to fulfill partnership agreements at Mammoth and June Mountain. This role is responsible for the execution of marketing deliverables for our resort sponsors, assisting with reporting/documenting of activations and assisting with resort partner hospitality requirements. The candidate must be a problem-solver, with a high level of organizational skills and ability to take initiative. The position will report directly to the Events, Sponsorship and Athlete Director in the Marketing Department.
- This position assists in the planning, logistics, and day-of execution of activations ranging from tastings and demos to full-scale event sponsorships. This position also handles essential administrative responsibilities such as overseeing assets, fulfillment, deliverables tracking, documenting activations, preparing reports and presentations on sponsor activities, and various projects needed within the Sponsorship and Events team. By maintaining operational excellence, aligning with resort and Alterra strategies, and driving measurable outcomes, this position directly supports both short- and long-term revenue growth while strengthening the resort's brand relationships. The best candidate must work well under pressure and tight deadlines as well as be available to work weekends, holidays, outside and longer shifts to ensure the success of a partnership obligation, a sponsor activation or resort event.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in events management, marketing or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- Minimum 1-year experience in sponsorship coordination or activations
- Proven experience planning, and promoting small-to-mid scale events or animation programming required
- Understanding of events planning/operations; a pulse on current trends as well as an ability to keep events relevant and fresh required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, high proficiency in Excel required
- Passionate outdoor enthusiast with a love for the mountain lifestyle
- Full-time, seasonal, in-person, on-site position
- Self-starter who is eager to come up with partnership and activation ideas, support teams goals and priorities, and operate in a rapidly changing environment

Hourly pay rate: $22.77-$24.58
