The Sr. Director - Offshoring Services, Financial Services, leads CBIZ's offshore relationships and internal offshoring teams to deliver high-quality, cost-effective support for accounting, tax, audit, advisory, and related services. Reporting to operational leadership, this role drives operational excellence, talent management, service delivery, process innovation, and growth initiatives, while ensuring alignment with CBIZ's strategic goals and fostering a strong culture of engagement. The Sr. Director is also responsible for overseeing the management and integration of the internal offshoring team members and ensuring close alignment and collaboration with resource management teams to optimize workforce planning and utilization across onshore and offshore resources.
Essential Functions and Primary Duties *Partner with regional leadership in Tax, Attest, Advisory, and functional teams to develop, execute, and enhance offshore service offerings. *Directly and indirectly manage offshore teams and support functions (HR, Recruiting, Admin, IT, and in-country leadership) to ensure headcount, talent, and capacity align with organizational growth objectives and operational needs. *Work closely with resource management teams to ensure coordinated workforce planning, cross-functional alignment, and optimized deployment of both onshore and offshore resources. *Ensure quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of all work products, optimizing intake, capacity, and output. *Oversee onboarding, training, performance management, and offboarding processes for offshore associates, ensuring consistent service delivery, compliance, and professional development across locations. *Facilitate effective collaboration and regular communication between onshore and offshore teams, including status updates, continuous improvement initiatives, and thought leadership efforts. *Own and manage the business unit's P&L, monitor financial performance, and implement cost-control measures to optimize profitability. *Develop, implement, and monitor current and long-term KPIs and utilization metrics; use reporting to assess performance and adjust operations as needed. *Develop and communicate the business unit vision, mission, goals, and actionable plans; implement communication strategies to increase awareness of offshore capabilities and capacity. *Oversee offshore physical locations and facilities, ensuring operational objectives, people management, security, and IT needs are met. *Require and conduct regular international travel for direct oversight, relationship building, and operational effectiveness. *Support integration of offshoring associates into broader resource management processes, including skills alignment, career development, and utilization strategies, ensuring that offshore teams are fully leveraged and aligned with firm-wide workforce planning.
Preferred Qualifications *Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or CPA preferred. *10+ years of progressive leadership experience in professional services operations, including direct management of offshore/outsourced teams. *Proven record of developing and scaling global delivery and support functions. *Strong financial acumen; experience managing P&L and operating budgets. *Expertise in process optimization, risk management, internal controls, and technology-driven service delivery. *Excellent communication, organizational, and cross-cultural leadership skills. *Ability to travel internationally as needed.
Minimum Qualifications Required *Bachelor's degree (minimum). *At least 10 years' experience in professional services operations or related fields. *Demonstrated ability to manage global teams and complex projects. *Proficiency in financial management and business operations. *Ability to communicate professionally at all organizational levels. *Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills. *Ability to travel internationally as needed. #LI-MM2 #LI-Hybrid
