Summary
Responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily assignments and competencies of clinical and non-clinical staff, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to established policies and procedures.

Essential Functions
-Provides day-to-day supervision and direction to staff. Including creating staff assignments, preparing schedules, and resolving escalated situations/questions.
-Responsible for recruiting, hiring, evaluating, training, and developing support staff.
-Conducts performance evaluations and disciplinary action.
-Subject matter expert in all competencies, policies, and procedures to provide the highest quality support for clinical providers.
-Oversees medication inventory, expirations, and ordering.
-Coordinates with colleagues to ensure availability of supplies, instruments and scopes.
-Assists with or conducts 1:1s and staff meetings.
-Serves as clinical backup as needed.

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent required and Trade/Technical/Vocational Diploma Medical Assisting required

Licenses and Credentials
Certified Medical Assistant [National Certification] - Various - Required

Experience
Clinic/practice experience 2-3 years required and Experience in a supervisory or leadership role 2-3 years preferred

- Strong understanding of medical terminology.
