Position Summary:

MedInsight is seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to join our team of engineers, designers, and product managers to build robust, engaging healthcare business intelligence products. We are looking for candidates who feel passionate about representing our clients' needs throughout the product lifecycle, from ideation to prioritization to day-to-day development and release management.

The Senior Technical Product Manager will serve as a bridge between our engineering teams, our go-to-market teams, and our clients to ensure that all stakeholders remain aligned on Product vision, roadmap, and priorities. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, have a high attention to detail, and have experience working with cross-functional teams from a variety of backgrounds.

The Senior Technical Product Manager will also manage a dedicated team of Subject Matter Experts within the Product Development organization that is responsible for ensuring consistently reliable, coherent, and stable outputs from our products, providing expertise on the latest methodologies and analytic trends in the healthcare data space, and supplying our client services team with comprehensive transparency about the impacts of product releases on client data (e.g., updates to methodologies, enrichment analytics, reference data, etc.)

Primary Responsibilities:

As a Senior Technical Product Manager, this professional will leverage their expertise in healthcare data analytics and data modeling to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for data quality and validation throughout MedInsight's ecosystem. They will be integral to all phases of the product development lifecycle and will work alongside the Product team to lead and improve upon MedInsight's Data Confidence Model to ensure we are providing transparency into client data quality and changes in data outputs across product releases.

Key responsibilities of the role include:



  • Serving as an expert in data quality and validation, with a specific focus on healthcare claims and clinical data
  • Defining and managing the creation and delivery of cloud-native data quality artifacts throughout each stage of the MedInsight platform (i.e., data intake, ETL, enrichment, and surfacing through our end-user applications)
  • Developing a deep understanding of our Data Confidence model, how we are positioned within the marketplace
  • Managing our data quality vertical within the Product Development team
  • Understanding and representing the voice of our users by gathering and prioritizing customer requirements and feedback
  • Coordinating cross-functional stakeholders across engineering, client support, sales, and executive leadership to ensure everyone is aligned on our product strategy and informed about key product initiatives
  • Creating and maintaining product roadmaps alongside our Product Strategy and Product Leadership teams

Requirements:



  • 7+ years of Product Management, Product Analyst, or similar relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree in, data analytics, a healthcare-related field, or other relevant subjects
  • Experience managing a team of Individual Contributors
  • Expertise in the US healthcare industry and healthcare data methodologies
  • Expertise in data quality best practices and experience working with large normative data sets and/or research databases
  • Familiarity with common analytics technologies (e.g., experience with Databricks, SQL, R, Python etc.)
  • Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel, etc.)
  • Understanding of cloud technologies (e.g., Azure)
  • Experience with common claims-based analytic methodologies and reporting (e.g., evidence-based quality measures, member and physician attribution, HEDIS reporting, etc.)
  • Ability to analyze user requests, define requirements, develop project plans, and report conclusions


Compensation and Location:

The overall salary range for this role is $131,600 - $260,640.

For candidates residing in:



  • Alaska, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, or the District of Columbia the salary range is $144,760 - $238,920.
  • New York City, Newark, San Jose, or San Francisco the salary range is $157,920 - $260,640.
  • All other locations the salary range is $131,600 - 217,200.


A combination of factors will be considered, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, etc. This role can be located remotely within the United States.
