The Position

***Please note that this is a fixed-term position until the end of 2026.

As a Global Business Process Specialist for Demand to Pay, you will be a part of the Business Process Management Organization of Demand to Pay. You will support the continuous global harmonization, standardization, and automation of the Demand to Pay processes.

The Opportunity:

The role establishes related standard Roche Services and Solutions (RSS) procurement and finance services for the Affiliates, in close cooperation with relevant deployment teams (e.g. ASPIRE). The role is familiar with the end-to-end process templates and uses them as a basis to define, describe, and implement necessary configurations for each service recipient, in consultation with Global Business Process Managers.

As a project team member for SMART by GEP/SAP S/4 deployments, the following is expected:
  • Work closely with the Deployment Managers, IT Leads and Demand to Pay Global Business Process Specialists (GBPS), e.g. Upstream Procurement (Sourcing, Contracting, Demand Management etc.) and Accounts Payable (AP), etc. to cover the End to End Demand to Pay (D2P) process as well as cross-functional processes and support in case of interface technical issues to understand the root cause.
  • Interact with the local stakeholders, to consider their requirements and make them adhere to the defined global processes (Global template)
  • Work in different tools like JIRA to work on local requirements and to collaborate with the deployment and product team.
  • Review the Data Collection Sheet (DCS) for SMART by GEP solution and make sure it is well so that it can be configured in a way that it works as expected in the test environment and later in the productive system.
  • Align with the Deployment Manager and Global Business Process Specialists (GBPSs) on the testing scope and selection of the relevant test cases, depending on the local need.
  • Coordinate/ support the testing activities like UT/ SAT/ DET/ UAT and migration test loads, plus the defect resolution.
  • Support during the Cutover phase.
  • Support during the hypercare phase if any process-relevant questions are raised.
Who you are:
  • You have a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Finance or related.
  • You have 5+ years Procurement / Supply Chain / Finance / Project and/or Process management experience.
  • You are eager to work in a deployment team in an intercultural environment and bring a strong stakeholder-centric focus.
  • You have a good Demand to Pay processes and system, ideally very good SAP S/4 and Smart by GEP solutions knowledge.
You ideally bring a good understanding of
  • PMM (Project Management Methodology) due to waterfall methodology used in deployments & Agile Project Management used in product development.
  • You have very good spoken and written English skills. Additional languages like Spanish and Portuguese would be advantageous.

Relocation benefits are not available for this position.

The expected salary range for this position, based on the primary location of Indianapolis, is between $80,800 and $150,000 Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
