Solvere Technical Group is seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to lead and optimize federal contracting operations across multiple programs. This role requires strategic oversight, compliance expertise, and hands-on leadership to ensure successful execution of government contracts. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and the flexibility to travel as needed to support program goals.

Key Responsibilities



  • Manage day-to-day operations of federal contracts, ensuring compliance with FAR, DFARS, and agency-specific regulations.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality services and meet contractual performance standards.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for government clients, ensuring responsiveness and satisfaction.
  • Monitor KPIs and generate reports using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Support proposal development, contract transitions, and program startup activities.
  • Ensure all operations adhere to security protocols and maintain compliance with Secret Clearance requirements.


Security Requirements:



  • Active Secret Clearance.


Required Qualifications



  • 10+ years of experience in federal contracting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong understanding of federal acquisition processes and contract types (FFP, CPFF, IDIQ).
  • Exceptional leadership, communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, or Engineering or
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
  • Experience with defense-related contracts and agencies (e.g., DoD, Army, Navy, Air Force).
  • Familiarity with systems such as SAM.gov, WAWF, DCMA, and DCAA.


Travel Requirements:



  • Travel up to 25% to client sites, program locations, and stakeholder meetings.
