As a member of a sales team, the sales professional is responsible for new business development, account implementation and maintaining and deepening customer relationships within a defined geographic territory specific to LTL business. Essential Functions: * Develops new business by identifying potential new customers and growing revenue, conducting background research on potential customers, analyzing customer needs, and developing and implementing LTL solutions * Maintains existing business by developing an understanding of the customer's business and supply chain through research, customer interaction and collaboration with other key sales and sales support contacts * Coordinates and collaborates with other internal teams, such as sales counterparts, operational teams and other internal partners to provide a seamless and outstanding customer experience and holistic view of the customer's needs * Manage and execute key success factors to meet quarterly goals * Leverages new and existing technology tools such as internal systems, mobile devices and Microsoft Office suite * Performs other duties as assigned Minimum Education: Bachelors Degree or two (2) years of business-to-business sales experience. Minimum Experience: Two (2) years of business-to-business sales experience (LTL preferred) or two (2) years of FedEx business-to-business sales experience required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
