Software is a strategic growth area for Keysight, and our enterprise entitlement management system - Keysight Software Manager (KSM) - plays a pivotal role by providing software management tools and enabling automated license delivery for all Keysight products. As a customer-facing enterprise system, KSM is instrumental in bringing new business models and products to market while delivering an industry-leading experience for customers. As an internal business system KSM enables efficient & scalable software operations for 30+ business units including R&D, NPI, BizOps, Manufacturing, and Customer Support.

As a Senior Product Manager on this team, you will drive the continued iterative improvement & innovation of capabilities within a segment of this platform. You will do so by deeply understanding your stakeholders needs, data / behavioral trends, and industry standards; developing bottoms-up roadmaps that align with organizational goals; and shepherding execution from ideation through engineering development, change management, user adoption, etc.. You should expect to work cross-functionally more often than not and be as comfortable communicating with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Legal / Compliance, InfoSec, etc. as you are with Software and R&D Engineers.

This is a high-scope role requiring attention to detail, ability to translate organizational strategy into tactics, curiosity to quickly build understanding of both industry & internal ecosystems, savvy to navigate evolving organizational dynamics, a data-driven mindset, and comfort leading through influence & well-crafted narratives.

The preferred location for this role is Santa Rosa (CA) or Seattle (WA). We will also consider the Remote (US ONLY) option for ideal candidates.


Responsibilities

  • Pro-actively develop vision, strategy, and roadmaps for innovation & iterative improvement of your platform segment
  • Translate deep understanding of Keysight's monetization models, business strategy, and product usage into value-add features and tool capabilities
  • Engage with customers, partners, and stakeholders to validate hypotheses & gather ideas
  • Drive successful feature launches in partnership with engineering, QA, SME, and user enablement teams. This may include hands-on involvement in design, trade-off decisions, demoes, creation of collateral, etc. as needed to deliver the right results for a given initiative
  • Pull, analyze, and communicate data to inform decision-making, create fact-based narratives, identify innovation opportunities, and root-cause complex issues
  • Lead and contribute to cross-functional working groups exploring innovation opportunities, trade-offs, solutions options, and executional plans for Keysight's biggest strategic investments
  • Manage expectations, communication, and conflict resolution across stakeholders at multiple levels, from peer-partners to executive sponsors
  • Conduct primary and secondary research on industry trends, customer expectations, and competitive landscape to inform prioritization, innovation opportunities, and best practices
  • Advocate for customer experience, usability, and needs throughout their entitlement & license management lifecycle, from product evaluation to purchase renewals
  • Manage KPIs related to customer experience, usage, product health, development velocity, etc. for your platform segment
  • Contribute to team process improvement & prodOps maturation projects

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in information systems, computer science, engineering, or related STEM field.
  • 7+ years of experience in product management, program management, and/or leading enterprise-level cross-functional initiatives
  • In depth understanding of the end-to-end B2B software customer journey, touchpoints, and key drivers & constraints
  • Deep understanding of enterprise B2B software business models, monetization strategies, and licensing technologies & trends
  • Proven ability to make data-driven decisions, navigate contradictory data-points, articulate anecdote & data-supported vision, build consensus, and create closed-loop mechanisms to ensure realization of value
  • Demonstrated leadership & effectiveness working with cross-functional and globally-distributed teams
  • Exceptional coordination, communication, and presentation skills across technical, non-technical, and executive sponsor stakeholders
  • Intermediate SQL skills including but not limited to nested/sub-queries, temp-tables, multi-table joins, views, and generally being able to navigate data stored in a large number of normalized tables
  • Hands-on experience with and/or detailed understanding of common development frameworks a must (Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban, Rapid Prototype)

Desired Qualifications:

  • MBA or STEM-related Master's strongly preferred
  • Experience with software entitlement, licensing, and enforcement technologies strongly preferred
  • Experience working in globally distributed & multi-cultural environments strongly preferred
  • Experience working within the context of common QTC / GTM business systems preferred (ex. Oracle, Salesforce, etc.)

The level of role will be based on applicable experience, education and skills; Most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed below.

California pay range: MIN $124,420- MAX $207,370

Washington pay range: MIN $115,400- MAX $207,370

Note: For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region
