Cable & Installation Technician- Low Voltage Specialist (Beaufort, SC) Employer:TEKsystems (Contract-to-Hire) Location:Beaufort, SC Schedule:Monday-Thursday, 3:00 PM - 2:00 AM (4x10hr shifts) Pay:$22-$35/hr (higher rates considered for extensive experience) Looking for consistent work and a chance to make a real impact in your community? This role focuses on supporting school districts with structured cabling, security camera systems, and access control installations-providing reliable infrastructure where it matters most. What You'll Be Doing: * Installing and servicingstructured cabling,CCTV systems, andaccess control systems * Working primarily inschool district facilitiesacross Beaufort County * Ensuring clean, professional, and code-compliant installations * Troubleshooting and resolving low voltage system issues * Collaborating with a team to meet project timelines and quality standards What We're Looking For: * Hands-on experience withlow voltage systems(structured cabling, security cameras, access control) * Strong work ethic and apositive, team-oriented personality * Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions * Comfortable working second shift (3pm-2am, Mon-Thurs) * Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally Why This Role Stands Out: * Consistent workin local school districts * Opportunity to transition to afull-time role * Competitive pay with potential for higher rates based on experience * Supportive team environment with room to grow Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
