Responsibilities

Intermountain Hospital is looking for a dynamic & inspiring Performance Improvement Analyst! The Performance Improvement Analyst is responsible for monitoring the quality management assessment and quality performance improvement program. This is achieved through audits, data analysis, root cause analysis, managing improvement teams, and presenting various measures of performance quality on a facility-wide scale. The PI Analyst works with all departments at all levels in the facility to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.

Shift: Full time - 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday

Intermountain Hospital, located in Boise, has been providing quality psychiatric and chemical dependency services to Idaho's Treasure Valley and the western US since 1980. This 151-bed facility is located on 10 beautiful acres near the foothills of Idaho's dramatic Sawtooth Mountains. Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Health Information Management, Information Management, or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience: Two (2) years experience in quality management/improving organizational performance (IOP) within an acute health care setting. Intermediate to advanced skills needed with Excel spreadsheets.

Additional Requirements: A strong knowledge of The Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA, SUDS and Patient Rights standards, and any other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing mental health care facilities.
