As a Security Officer - Unarmed Chemical Facility Patrol in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated chemical and petrochemical locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, engaging with individuals on-site, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will contribute to a secure environment by responding promptly to situations and supporting a culture built on teamwork, integrity, and care for people. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity within the chemical or petrochemical environment and report findings as required.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
• Follow all site-specific protocols and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly as part of daily duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
