      Materials Research Center Job Description
      The Materials Research Center (MRC) at the Missouri University of Science and Technology invites applications for a 1 month non-tenure track Visiting Scholar to begin November 17, 2025. They will perform laboratory research on the processing and properties of structural ceramics. Specifically experience with synthesis of boride ceramics, densification by hot pressing or spark plasma sintering, and characterization using common methods such as x-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy. Qualifications
      Minimum Qualifications: A Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering, Ceramic Engineering or a closely related field is required. Preferred Qualifications: A Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering, Ceramic Engineering or a closely related field is required. Experience with boride ceramics such as zirconium diboride is a plus. Application Materials
