| About the Role We are looking for a digitally fluent and detail-oriented Data Engineer to join our Gore Medical Corporate Compliance team. In this role, you will identify opportunities to apply advanced tools - including AI-powered platforms, automation technologies, and analytics dashboards - to streamline and scale compliance oversight, risk detection, monitoring, and auditing activities. The ideal candidate is a strong problem-solver who understands business processes and can implement technology solutions to improve oversight, automation, and efficiency across the compliance function. This position offers flexible work arrangement options: on-site at our facility in Phoenix or Flagstaff, Arizona, Elkton, Maryland, or Silicon Valley, California, hybrid or fully remote in most locations within the United States.Pay and Benefits

    Design and implement AI-driven solutions (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, Azure AI, Power Platform) to automate workflows, summarize data, generate reports, and assist in policy or training development and Stay current on emerging AI tools and make recommendations for pilot projects or future use casesConfigure and maintain automated processes (e.g., using Power Automate, SharePoint, or other tools) for tasks like issue triage, document workflows, or tracking training completionBuild and manage compliance dashboards in Power BI or equivalent tools to monitor risk trends, metrics, and operational indicatorsSupport integration between compliance systems and data sources to improve monitoring, reporting, and audit readinessFurther development and automation of compliance monitoring tools and systemsLeverage AI-enhanced analytics to identify patterns or red flags in data from CRM, ERP, LMS, or third-party platformsSupport intake and triage of compliance issues, leveraging AI tools to assist with prioritization, classification, or summarizationPartner with stakeholders across Compliance, Legal, IT, and other business functions to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions and ensure alignment with governance, privacy, and security standardsPerform data extraction, transformation, and basic analysis to support audits, investigations, or leadership reviewsMonitor system performance and implement improvements for reliability, security, and scalabilityRequired Qualifications 
    Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related fieldMinimum 2 years of experience in a data analyst or similar role, with exposure to compliance, risk, or audit functionsProficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker)Hands-on experience using AI tools such asMicrosoft Copilot,ChatGPT, or similar generative AI platforms to enhance productivity, automate reporting, or support compliance workflowsExperience with scripting or automation tools (e.g., Python, R, Alteryx) to streamline data workflows and compliance reportingFamiliarity withMicrosoft Power Platform(Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps) for building low-code/no-code solutions that support compliance and operational efficiencyUnderstanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., SOX, GDPR, HIPAA) and how they influence data governance and automationStrong understanding of data quality, lineage, and controls in regulated environmentsStrong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for compliance stakeholdersAbility to travel up to 10%Desired Qualifications
