As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout a retail and mall location. You will interact with the public, assist visitors, and respond to various situations to support a secure environment. This position requires driving as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do:

• Provide outstanding customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a retail or mall environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and client site instructions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any security-related irregularities or suspicious activity, documenting details as required.
• Assist visitors and tenants with directions, information, and general inquiries while maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Support emergency response activities as directed by site protocols and Allied Universal leadership.
• Work collaboratively with site personnel and local authorities when necessary to address incidents or concerns.
• Maintain professional appearance and demeanor while representing Allied Universal at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
