As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for all personnel and assets. Your presence will be key in controlling access, verifying credentials, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone onsite. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, screening individuals and/or vehicles as required by site protocols.
• Support access control measures and verify credentials of personnel and/or visitors entering the premises.
• Communicate clearly with team members, visitors, and management regarding security-related matters and incidents.
• Maintain accurate records and reports of incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Assist with emergency response activities in accordance with site-specific procedures when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• A current CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
