Job Summary Conduct all supply activities related to the procurement, handling, coordination, and disbursing of materials, equipment, and services requested by internal and external customers at various locations and job sites. Activities include (but not limited to) quality inspection of received materials, pre-assembly, kitting, records management, dispatching WE vehicles, and return goods for shipment.Job Responsibilities 
    Package material for point-of-use deliveryAssemble material into units for point-of-use deliveryPick, stage, prepare materials, tools, equipment for deliveryHelp customers identify materials, tools, job numbers, reservation numbers for planning/disbursementComplete transactions associated with reservations, direct order entry, disbursements of materialDeliver material/equipment to job sites, including substations, using forklifts, cranes, etc., requiring the reading of prints, drawings, maps to determine precise drop-off pointDisburses/maintains tools used by personnelProcess, sort, receive, enter property/serial numbers to computer system, stage, store electric metersProvide storeroom support for special electric meter shop materialConduct QA inspectionsHandle and resolve rejections/discrepancies with supplier; process corresponding paperwork, computer system transactionsReconcile individual/ghost account Procard statementsSelect and prepare samples for inspection/testing; prepare paperwork/computer system transactionsDeliver materials, tools, equipment to crewsIdentify chemical deliveries, direct to proper location, notify appropriate plant personnelArrange for, coordinate, receive services provided by outside contractors such as: automatic fire equipment, sand, gravel, etcEvaluate, prepare, account for returned materialsIdentify/reclaim materials fit to be returned to stock and those to be scrappedProcess paperwork to disperse used materials to customers; ensure customer is informed of hazardsInvestigate and determine account/work order to credit returned scrap/non-scrap itemsIdentify and determine repairable items, repair, disassemble, perform necessary transactions to return material to stockDisassemble and pump oil from leaking transformersTake oil samples from electrical equipment to have tested for PCB'sClean up/dispose of hazardous substancesEvaluate/analyze when and what to order using information systems, lead times, experience, judgment, inventory levels, interaction with usersDetermine/schedule delivery dates, review prints/job documentsContact vendors to expedite materials/services needed immediatelyOrder, receipt for, transport propane fuel and vehicle oil, gasoline, diesel fuelIssue production orders to have special items fabricatedOrder/deliver hazardous materialsConduct inventoriesPerform weekly cycle countsInitiate, investigate, verify, adjust, maintain documentation of discrepancies in stock balancesDetermine stocking levels and reorder pointsExecute inventory reduction strategies at the storeroom levelClean, sanitize, inspect, schedule, maintain safety equipmentMaintain and store records and materialsDispatch/schedule/prioritize materials, services equipment, personnel to various locationsInitiate/reconcile documentation associated with payments/accounts payable follow-upsInitiate and perform minor building maintenance and repairsPerform functions e.g., set up meeting rooms, moving office furniture, snow removal, etcHandles timesheets and acts as dispatcher for Steam ServicesPeriodically test backup generatorMonitor/maintain underground fuel and oil tanksMinimum Qualifications  
    Three years of warehouse and powered industrial truck experience or an Order Picker with greater than one year of experience is requiredApplicant must have a valid driver's license and meet the company's requirements for driving. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs.
