Opportunity Overview: Electrical Project Manager - 12+ Month Contract On-site Palisades Nuclear Plant in Covert, MI. The Electrical Project Manager oversees electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to specifications, requiring a blend of technical knowledge and management skills. This position is based at the Palisades Nuclear Plant in Covert, MI. You will report to the Site Manager. Your Day-to-Day: *Project Planning and Management: Electrical Project Managers are responsible for planning and directing electrical projects as part of larger construction efforts. This includes developing project plans, budgets, and schedules. *Coordinate with electricians, engineers, and other professionals to ensure the successful execution of projects at the Palisades Nuclear Plant in Covert, MI. *Responsible for delegating tasks, monitoring progress, and facilitating collaboration among team members. *Maintaining communication with clients, contractors, and partners is crucial. *Present progress reports, manage relationships, and ensure that project requirements are met. *Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and legal regulations is a critical part of the role. *Must stay updated on industry standards and compliance requirements. Who You Are: *A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field is required. *Additional certifications in project management can be beneficial. * 5+ years of previous management experience in electrical projects, along with an understanding of electrical systems and construction processes is required. *Understand electrical systems, project management methodologies, and industry standards is necessary. *Must have team management experience to manage teams and projects. *The ability to identify potential risks and implement solutions to mitigate them is important for project success.
