This position is responsible for all research administrative assistant support for the Department of Radiology and the EXPLORER Molecular Imaging Center (EMIC). This position provides as administrative support for the departments research enterprise, including the Neuroradiology Division, Physics Division and other faculty members and research units, such as EMIC within the Department of Radiology and Radiation Oncology.

Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/training
- At least 2 years of administrative support experience required.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment in prioritizing and organizing an extremely heavy workload in an active and complex working environment with multiple deadlines and to distribute effort appropriately among the projects, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of productivity.
- Demonstrated oral and written communications skills to prepare clear, accurate correspondence and reports; demonstrated excellent writing and editing skills to produced effective correspondence, particularly grant proposals.
- Excellent English grammar skills to compose and proofread a variety of documents.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated skill and experience to operate both PC for word processing, proposal submission and reports, financial reports, data retrieval and electronic mail.
- Knowledge of software programs Microsoft Word for Windows, Excel, Power Point, Photos shop and Acrobat.
- Ability to use AggieBuy, AggieSurplus, Compass, and SharePoint.
- Knowledge of and experience with MylnfoVault academic database including dossier preparation.
- Working knowledge of department's hospital operations and services available and departmental and University billing processes. Knowledge of University policies and procedures.
- Skills in to interpret knowledge of Health System and UCD policies and procedures to interpret issues and participate in the creation and adaptation of new policies to address issues as they arise.

The Department of Radiology is a large academic and clinical department within the School of Medicine which is responsible for teaching and training of residents, medical students, and clinical fellows, as well as both basic and creative clinical scholarly investigations. Radiology maintains a substantial amount of research, both basic and clinical trials, and provides services for interdepartmental research studies.

Work Environment
