Genesis10 is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager for a 6-month contract position with our healthcare services client. The position is 100% remote.
Compensation: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour (W-2). The Strategic Sourcing Manager is responsible for partnering with specific business units to manage their sourcing needs. This includes the development of a vendor strategy, designing and administering RFXs, negotiations, contracting, and other sourcing management functions. This position also leads mid-sized department projects and initiatives, as well as assists in the development of the client's Strategic Sourcing strategy. Responsibilities: * Set the category sourcing strategy and leverage all spend to manage the category's total costs while enhancing vendor services to meet the category's ever-evolving needs * Work directly with our client's business partners and Strategic Sourcing Leadership to refine the sourcing strategy to address and meet the ever-changing needs and requirements * Initiate, direct and conduct all activities relating to evaluating, selecting, negotiating, and implementing preferred supplier contracts and develop and maintain long-term relationships with our clients' strategic suppliers * Negotiate and manage the contracting process for business partners, ensuring that terms are consistent with Prime's standards and that renewals, amendments, and terminations are managed in a timely manner Requirements * Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, supply chain or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience * 5 years of strategic sourcing, vendor management, procurement, or similar experience * Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for a work visa or residency sponsorship * Prior project management experience requiring collaboration and coordination across multiple business areas and stakeholder groups * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment, collaborate, and manage multiple tasks and priorities * Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite * PBM/health care experience * Experience sourcing one or more of the following categories: facilities, marketing, human resources, clinical, customer service, or PBM operations * Familiarity with vendor contracting requirements in the healthcare industry (e.g., HIPAA, accreditation agencies, etc.) If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, apply today!
