This position is designated as a hybrid role based out of our headquarters near Portland, Oregon. The current expectation is for employees to work onsite four days per week, subject to change based on business needs. This in-office requirement may be adjusted at the discretion of the company.

ABOUT THE POSITION

Columbia Sportswear's Finance & Accounting teams oversee the financial health and forward strategy for a portfolio of four global brands, including SOREL. These teams bring expertise across Compliance, Credit, Financial Planning and Reporting, Tax, Treasury, and Strategy-and are leading innovation in analytics and automation.

As the Senior Financial Analyst supporting SOREL, you'll work closely with our North American and international commercial subsidiaries, as well as all functions within our SOREL Global HQ. You'll play a key role in financial planning and analysis, helping drive profitable and sustainable growth through strategic insights and collaborative partnerships.

HOWYOU'LLMAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Build and maintain best-in-class reporting tools, processes, and ad hoc analyses with a focus on clear storytelling and action-oriented output
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for SOREL and Columbia Sportswear leadership, as well as cross-functional business partners
  • Monitor forecasts, inventory, and margin performance, providing guidance to improve accuracy and alignment with strategic goals
  • Support long-range planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes across global SOREL functions
  • Identify risks and opportunities through scenario analysis and KPI tracking, delivering actionable recommendations
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align on financial targets, reporting, and performance insights
  • Serve as a key contributor to continuous improvement efforts across financial systems and processes
  • Interface with senior finance leadership and contribute to materials for executive-level presentations

YOUHAVE

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis
  • Strong Excel modeling and presentation skills
  • Experience with enterprise-level planning systems (e.g., IBM Cognos TM1) and visual analytics tools (e.g., Power BI or Tableau)
  • Working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting best practices
