This position is designated as a hybrid role based out of our headquarters near Portland, Oregon. The current expectation is for employees to work onsite four days per week, subject to change based on business needs. This in-office requirement may be adjusted at the discretion of the company.

ABOUT THE POSITION

Columbia Sportswear's dynamic global supply chain consists of 4 distribution centers, 430 retail stores, 80 apparel factories and 20 footwear factories worldwide and a diverse raw materials source base to support our consumer needs. We pride ourselves on being able to get products to market quickly, safely, and in the most cost-effective manner. By leveraging data analytics, we are constantly pushing to make smarter business decisions and identifying innovative ways to make Columbia Sportswear's supply chain more efficient and effective to meet our consumers' ever-changing needs.

As a member of our North America DTC Planning & Allocation team, you'll support bringing the product assortment to life. You'll collaborate with internal teams in Buying, Planning, Distribution, and Operations to execute the distribution of inventory to retail stores. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, solving problems, improving processes, and working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

HOWYOU'LLMAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Execute the distribution of product according to the assortment plan, monitor productivity according to sales, margin, and turnover goals for each store.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment to maximize product availability.
  • Manage on hand quantities by store for the area of responsibility, identify and manage exceptions.
  • Analyze weeks of supply and in stock % to ensure proper distribution and reorder of product.
  • Communicate inventory availability with buying and planning partners to ensure liquidation of product according to plan.

  • A strong communicator who enjoys working across teams.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with a knack for spotting inefficiencies
  • Comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Curious and proactive - you seek out ways to improve how things work.
  • A team player who's open to learning and sharing knowledge.

YOUHAVE

  • 2-4 years of experience in order fulfillment, supply chain, or account operations.
  • Familiarity with tools like Excel (pivot tables, vlookup), Blue Yonder Allocation, or similar order fulfillment systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and respond to urgent requests with minimal supervision.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
