Technical Project Coordinator

Kelmar is seeking an experienced Technical Project Coordinator to serve as the primary liaison between our internal operations team and software development. In this critical role, you'll manage our ticketing pipeline, ensuring requests are properly triaged, tracked, and resolved efficiently. You'll be the organizational backbone that keeps our operations running smoothly. This is a remote position with the option to work in any of Kelmar's offices including Rockland, MA; Wakefield, MA; or Wilmington, DE.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Triage and prioritize incoming tickets from our internal operations team using YouTrack, categorizing requests including technical bugs, data requests, system access issues, and process questions
  • Own the ticketing board end-to-end, maintaining organization, accurate statuses, and clear documentation
  • Proactively manage aging tickets, following up with stakeholders and development team members to drive resolution
  • Act as a bridge between non-technical business users and the software development team, translating requests and ensuring clarity on both sides
  • Identify patterns in incoming requests and work with leadership to implement process improvements and self-service solutions
  • Maintain SLAs and provide regular reporting on ticket metrics, resolution times, and operational bottlenecks
  • Provide administrative support to the development team, including scheduling, documentation, and coordination

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or relevant work experience
  • Proven track record managing high-volume ticketing systems (e.g., YouTrack, Jira, Zendesk)
  • Familiarity with Agile processes
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills for follow-ups and stakeholder management
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests simultaneously
  • Technical aptitude to understand and categorize issues
  • Self-starter mentality suited for remote work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced software development environment
  • Proficiency with common Microsoft and productivity tools (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience in SaaS environments and familiarity with development workflows a plus
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S without sponsorship now and in the future

SALARY & BENEFITS:
Compensation for this role varies depending on several factors including work location, level of experience, and skill set. As required by applicable law, the hiring range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000.
