Staffmark is seeking a strategic and hands-on Human Resources Director to lead and execute the company's HR strategy. This role oversees all HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee development, total rewards, compliance, and culture. The ideal candidate is a business-minded HR leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and can balance executive-level vision with practical execution to support office and field teams.

Salary: $75,000 - $85,000/year

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:



  • Partner with executives to develop and execute HR strategies that support growth, safety, and operational excellence.
  • Advise on organizational design, workforce planning, and leadership development.
  • Lead recruitment, succession planning, performance management, and training initiatives.
  • Oversee compensation, benefits, and incentive programs in alignment with business goals.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, OSHA, DOT, and company policies.
  • Manage HR operations, including HRIS, payroll, benefits, audits, and standardized processes.
  • Track HR metrics and drive engagement, recognition, and culture initiatives.
  • Foster a positive, values-driven, and safety-focused work environment.



Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience; experience in construction, equipment rental, manufacturing, or field-service preferred.
  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certification is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, and workforce development.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency with HRIS, payroll, and reporting systems.
