Are you a product leader ready to drive the success of a strategic, high-volume hardware portfolio?

Trimble is seeking an experienced, results-driven Senior Product Manager to manage our navigation controller hardware portfolio within the Agriculture Industry Solutions (AgIS) team. This is a chance to move beyond execution and step into a role that requires strategic leadership, financial acumen, and team mentorship to deliver critical business outcomes for our joint venture, PTx Trimble. In this role, you will be responsible for driving GNSS hardware strategy & growth, influencing product roadmaps, crafting compelling value propositions, and facilitating close collaboration with PTx Trimble joint venture counterparts. For this role, we are seeking a transformative change-agent who values team collaboration, is adept at creative thinking, and who possesses the thought leadership and execution skills to effectively communicate and implement change.

Your work will be pivotal in shaping the future of precision agriculture, ensuring our hardware sets the standard for reliability and performance. We're looking for a seasoned product manager who is excited by the challenge of building high value products and maximizing business outcomes in a complex, competitive environment.

What You Will Do
  • Drive the Hardware Roadmap: Manage the execution of a forward-looking multi-year product roadmap for the GNSS hardware portfolio, ensuring it aligns directly with AgIS's broader business goals and the needs of the PTx Trimble joint venture.

  • Manage Hardware P&L: Take ownership of our flagship products' revenue and profitability (P&L). This includes developing and managing financial forecasts, and meeting aggressive revenue targets.

  • Lead Product Lifecycle Transitions: Own the product lifecycle of new and existing products.

  • Communicate Product Vision: Translate complex, ambiguous business problems into tangible, actionable product strategies.

  • Measure Outcomes, Not Outputs: Define and track key business metrics (forecasting accuracy, market adoption, revenue growth, customer satisfaction) to ensure the roadmap is driving meaningful product outcomes.

  • Build Lasting Partnerships: Establish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with all critical stakeholders across engineering, operations, and the PTx Trimble joint venture to ensure smooth product delivery, clear communication, and organizational stability.

What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience in a related field.

  • 8+ years of experience in a product development role, preferably in the agriculture, construction, civil engineering, or enterprise software industry.

  • Proven track record in product management, ideally with significant experience owning and scaling a complex hardware portfolio (GNSS, precision ag, or machine control products preferred).

  • Demonstrated ability to manage a product line's P&L, set pricing, own forecasting, and drive down product costs.

  • A clear passion for mentorship and a track record of successfully coaching and influencing team members or dotted-line reports to deliver business results.

  • Experience navigating and driving outcomes in highly complex business environments like joint ventures, showing an ability to align priorities and foster collaboration across organizational boundaries.

  • A history of translating strategic vision into a clear backlog of work, ensuring the team is focused on delivering measurable business outcomes (revenue, market share, adoption) over simply shipping features.

  • Demonstrated ability to independently make effective, timely product decisions.
