The Director is accountable for the strategic decisions and support for the Windows Servers, Active Directory, Citrix, and VMware environments. The Senior Manager provides strategic direction for Enterprise initiatives, and maintains a culture of operational excellence throughout the Infrastructure Services Team. The Senior Manager addresses high priority problems, escalations, and maintains timely and accurate communication to senior management around key incidents and objectives. The Senior Manager drives a culture of continuous improvement in the environment through the development of effective KPIs and Service level agreements and ensuring that these are communicated effectively. The Senior Manager inspires and supports effective collaboration, communication and teamwork between other DaVita infrastructure and operations teams including the development and effective deployment of Infrastructure Services solutions, standard procedures, and best practices in line with the overall vision of the company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all-inclusive.

  • Provide Senior Management, technical leadership, and clarity around goals and priorities to all Infrastructure Services Managers, Supervisors, Engineers, and Systems Administrators.
  • Responsible for the development of departmental and project budgets and ensuring appropriate adherence to corporate budget targets.
  • Timely completion of annual performance and quarterly development reviews for direct reports and effectively manage corrective actions as required.
  • Ability to effectively coordinate and communicate with IT teams, business owners, and Senior Management during production impacting events.
  • Oversee the development, implementation and maintenance of standard processes covering all areas of Infrastructure Services and drive continuous improvement across multiple lanes.
  • Identification and Development of metrics and key performance indicators to drive strategic initiatives and ensure operational efficiencies.
  • Motivate and mentor team members for career development and planning, improving skills and taking on additional responsibilities.
  • Celebrate team and individual successes and create a positive, fun-filled work environment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education, licenses, certifications, and experience required to fulfill the essential duties, include computer skills as required.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or Equivalent Work Experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years of Infrastructure and Operations Management experience including Windows Systems, VMWare, Citrix, Active Directory, and other related I&O areas.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in building and supporting large-scale, business critical systems for a global, Enterprise organization.
  • Experience with Enterprise Data Center environment, migrations and consolidations
  • Strong leadership skills, with an ability to lead and motivate a geographically diverse team in a growing, dynamic environment utilizing diversity in approach and methodologies.
  • Deals with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgment.
  • Demonstrated experience in analytical and communication skills.
  • Experienced with ITIL Processes, Healthcare regulations (HIPAA) and System compliance audits (SOX).
  • Available to travel 25% of the time.
  • On-call for major incidents and other requirements as necessary.

The Salary Range for the role is $110,000.00 - $161,000.00/year.
