The Ecommerce Creative Team is comprised of energetic digital designers working together to translate big ideas of the season into compelling digital marketing assets that are inspirational and on-brand. We collaborate closely with cross-functional partners in eComm, Site Development, Brand Marketing, Photo Studio and Catalog to name a few! About the Role

The Designer, Email Creative is responsible for designing digital marketing creative, including emails, banners, paid social and interactive advertising for the Williams-Sonoma brand.

Responsibilities:

  • Design original email layouts - take projects from concept to completion while working within the parameters of the brand style guide.
  • Design seasonal paid social, display and banner ads from concept to completion.
  • Execute seasonal updates of existing email templates and Trigger campaigns.
  • Design all in-store event emails.
  • Work directly with Creative Manager to introduce new and innovative designs and features.
  • Work closely with copywriters and the creative team to gather images and copy, and route designs on a tight schedule.
  • Work with business and marketing teams to clarify objectives, revise creative and ensure accuracy of campaigns.
  • Manage HTML coders - provide schedules, oversee outsourced projects, and review and test emails before deployment.
  • Stay current on industry trends - keep the brand at the forefront of email design and best practices.

Criteria:

  • 2+ years of digital design experience, preferably in retail brands.
  • Bachelor's degree in Visual, Web or Graphic Design.
  • Proficient in Figma, Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator and Dreamweaver

  • Basic HTML, CSS and coding experience

  • Demonstrated record of bringing new ideas to fruition.
  • Extremely proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple, competing tasks.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Ability to self-direct under ambiguous and changing circumstances.

  • Meticulous attention to detail and work well within tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with current online advertising practices and functionality.

The expected starting pay range for this position is $80,000 - $82,000. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to competitive pay, compensation may include a variety of other components like benefits, paid time off, merit, and bonus opportunities.
