The Administrative Support Associate is a critical cornerstone of the Financial Aid Office, ensuring the seamless flow of operations that directly impact student success. Serving as the primary administrative backbone for the Director, Associate Director, Assistant Directors, and management team, this role is responsible for high-level administrative functions including document processing, record review, and report generation.

Responsibilities of the Administrative Support Associate include:
- Serving as the first point of contact for students, parents, and visitors: answering phones, greeting walk-ins, responding to inquiries, and directing individuals to the appropriate staff member or resource
- Scanning, indexing, and maintaining financial aid records
- Ensuring all scanned and indexed documents are complete, accurate, and properly categorized to support audit readiness
- Adhering to FERPA and institutional confidentiality policies when handling sensitive student and financial information
- Monitoring, maintaining, and reconciling the office budget, and preparing budget reports for leadership
- Coordinating and delivering presentations for FAFSA readiness workshops, recruitment events, and Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) sessions
- Providing timely, courteous, and accurate information regarding financial aid processes, policies, and deadlines
- Sharing information clearly and efficiently with Financial Aid staff and leadership to support coordination operations and decision-making
- Drafting and distributing accurate and professional correspondence to students, parents, and campus partners regarding financial aid requirements, deadlines, and updates

| Primary Function of Organizational Unit |
The Financial Aid Office promotes and coordinates access to a full range of financial aid programs designed to support the student's enrollment. The University makes every effort to provide financial assistance to capable and promising students who would otherwise be unable to attend. This assistance is designed to supplement what the student and his/her family is able to contribute towards expenses. The Financial Aid Office serves as a student resource coordinating agency, that promotes access to post secondary education for eligibility through counseling and timely financial assistance. |
