Loews Coral Gables Hotel is the second Loews Hotel to open in South Florida, joining 25 other properties across the US and Canada that make up the Loews Hotels & Co portfolio. This position is responsible for sales activities associated with the Room Service operation to include; assisting guest in the selection of menu items; upselling food, beverages, after dinner beverages and desserts; taking and processing orders; maintaining records. Essential Functions and Responsibilities 
   Maintains Room Service tracking and control records and filesStays informed of status of menu item availabilityAssists guests with selection of food, beverage, wine, dessert and specialty items,Makes knowledgeable recommendations regarding selection of food, beverages, wines desserts and after dinner beverages to ensure guest satisfaction, while attempting to produce maximum revenue form saleTakes and processes room service orders in a timely manner according to Loews standardsCompletes Room Service paperwork to ensure proper billing of all charges to appropriate guest accountResponds to complaints regarding room service orders in appropriate manner according to Loews standardsPosts Amenity charges to guest accountsDistribute amenities to server by confirming guest room number of guestDispatch bussers/ server to handle guest requestsCall back guest to confirm guest satisfaction with food quality and serviceOther duties as assigned Supportive Functions and Responsibilities
