Security Officer - Plant Patrol

As a Security Officer - Plant Patrol in Sedalia, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure environment for everyone onsite. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with the appropriate personnel as necessary.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the manufacturing and industrial location, including interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazards.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related concerns, or maintenance issues discovered during patrols.
• Assist in controlling access to the facility, verifying credentials and/or visitor identification as required.
• Support Allied Universal in maintaining a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential issues and foster a secure environment for employees and visitors.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
