As a Security Professional - Telecom Access Screener in Boise, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech and media location, you will monitor access control points and conduct security-related screenings to help create a secure environment. Your presence and attention to detail will help to deter incidents while you provide exceptional customer service to visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and engaging in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor entry points and screen individuals entering the premises to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with employees, visitors, and/or vendors as part of access control protocols.
• Report incidents, irregularities, and/or suspicious activity according to site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience in access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
