As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations to help create a secure environment for visitors and staff. You will conduct routine patrols throughout the premises, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting customers, visitors, and/or employees as required.
• Help to deter unwanted activity by conducting regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other disruptive behaviors common in retail environments.
• Communicate and report incidents, observations, and/or suspicious activity to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and site contacts.
• Follow all site-specific protocols related to entry, exit, and access control for employees, visitors, and/or delivery personnel.
• Support emergency response efforts in accordance with Allied Universal and location-specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
