Fully Remote Contingent upon award Connected Logistics is looking for (2) Sr. Systems Administrators (SYSADMIN) to support DLA's Energy Procurement Support Tool program. Connected Logistics is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Energy Procurement Support Tool (EPST), Integrated Award Workflow Tool (IAWT), and FASTracker programs. In this role, you will ensure all system components and solutions operate efficiently, remain secure, and are fully available to end users. You will leverage your technical expertise in systems administration, cybersecurity, and network operations to maintain a stable and optimized Government computing environment. Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the operational readiness and availability of EPST, IAWT, and FASTracker solution components.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls to safeguard systems and data.
- Analyze and resolve end-user software and connectivity issues, providing Tier II/III IT support as needed.
- Plan, develop, install, configure, maintain, support, and optimize software applications, interfaces, and network communication links.
- Organize, direct, and manage the configuration and operation of information management systems.
- Provide recommendations for system configuration changes, upgrades, and performance improvements.
- Develop and maintain IT sustainment procedures and documentation for system maintenance, upgrades, and new installations.
This position requires availability to work during normal Government duty hours based upon Eastern Time (ET) and the ability to coordinate work performance with the contractor TOPM but be virtually self-supervisory.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with a Top-Secret Clearance or an IT Sensitivity equivalent
- Must possess at least six (6) years of specialized experience. Specialized experience is defined as progressive experience in the field of information processing involving a range of hardware/software solutions. At least four (4) years of this specialized experience must be concentrated in installing, configuring, maintaining, and resolving IT issues within Oracle and/or Windows operating system environments.
- Must possess a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from a nationally accredited and recognized institution of higher learning in computer science or a total of ten (10) years of relevant program or project management experience or greater.
- Five (5) years or more demonstratable experience with overseeing one (1) or more tier II or tier III technical support teams for an enterprise level, mission critical / essential IT system or solution that leveraged an Oracle or Windows based platform. Integrating, maintaining, or sustaining deployed Gurobi Optimizer licensed software and performing and managing IT projects or programs using agile software development processes.
- Familiarity with DLA Energy business processes and procedures
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work well in a team setting as well as independently
- Proficiency in basic analytical software products such as Adobe as well as Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, Office, Visio, and PowerPoint.
Certification Requirements:
- Must possess valid certification(s) capable of meeting DoDM 8570.01-M/8140 "Cyber Workforce Qualification Program (need to know which ones)
- Gurobi Optimizer commercial software
- Oracle or Windows infrastructure such as Lunix, WebLogic Server, Java, Server Hybrid Administrator, Azure
- Administrator, etc.
